Low Rise 250 Kg Water Powered Access Lift

This lift is constructed and engineered to lift a maximum of 250 Kg to a max height of 1 meter. This product is comprised of galvanized mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, weather and fire resistant fabric which are the key elements of preserving integrity, reliability and longevity of this product.

Low Rise 250 Kg Hydraulic Powered Access Lift

This lift is constructed and engineered to lift a maximum of 250 Kg to a max height of 1 meter. This product is comprised of galvanized mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, weather and fire resistant fabric which are the key elements of preserving integrity, reliability and longevity of this product.

This lift is a direct duplicate of our water lift which has years of trial by use and therefore has all the refinements we have made over the years. The difference here is only the method of powering the lift.

We utilize a hydraulic motor which powers a hydraulic ram. The motor operates from an enclosed 12 V battery which is trickle charged. This system allows lift use for approximately 20 up and down cycles in the event the power fails at the premises.

The lift is carefully designed to eliminate most aspects of entrapment and injury caused to either the user or bystander. There are very simple and easy to use controls located in the centre of the lift. Optional controls are available for external or remote use.

Low Rise 500 Kg Hydraulic Powered Access Lift

This lift is constructed and engineered to lift a maximum of 250 Kg into and out of the swimming pool. This product is comprised of stainless steel, plastic and water hose which are the key elements of preserving integrity, reliability and longevity of this product.

This lift is simple in design and use with many models currently being utilised around NZ. The lift comprises a water powered hydraulic ram to lift and lower the user into and out of the swimming pool by utilizing the immediate household water supply. If the localized water pressure is not suffice to undertake this operation a remote water pump can be supplied as an optional extra to facilitate this function.

This lift is easy and simple to install and is designed to aesthetically fit into the surrounds as best as it can given its skeletal design. There are no electrical aspects to this design other than the optional remote water pump if required. If this is required the setback and position of the pump is one of insulation against possible interference of water.

Access Ramps

This new product has been under development for two years by the team at Black Engineering Ltd. This product is comprised of modular segments, both ramps and turn-a-rounds which are pieced together to form access ramping where this type of access option is suited.

Our accessibility ramps are ideally suited for:

  • Mobility scooter ramps
  • Wheelchair access ramps
  • Disabled access ramps
  • Portable ramps

The modular access ramps fit together securely and form a continuous flow of ramp to the desired exit / entry of the user. The modules are constructed of hollow rotational plastic with a wooden transfer surface allowing light and easy manhandling by one or two persons to position and secure them into place.

The ramps are simply secured together by interlocking connections with independent handrails which fit into each module and provide support for the user. The handrails are manufactured and fastened to offer both wheelchair and walking handhold support whilst accessing the ramps.

The ramps are designed not to be a permanent fixture rather a secure transportable access system which negates the expense and inconvenience of a constructed permanent system.
